Elias Villalobos Gonzalez

Elias Villalobos Gonzalez also known as “Don Jose”, age 84, passed away peacefully after a long fought battle with Alzheimer's on January 18th, 2026. He was surrounded by his loved ones when he entered eternal grace. He was born in Nochistlan, Zacatecas on July 27th, 1941 to his beloved parents Pedro Villalobos and Severiana Gonzalez. He grew up on a humble ranch in Paso de Orozco, where he enjoyed partaking in Charreadas. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing baraja and billiards. Elias loved listening to rancheras and norteñas, his favorite artist being Jose Alfredo Jimenez. He started his military service in the Mexican military in 1959 as an infantry man. Elias found the love of his life Consuelo Oropeza in 1961 and got married to her on December 25th, 1966. They started their beautiful family of 8 children in El Valle de Guadalupe, B.C. Elias was a provider and loving father that would do anything for his family. Elias is survived by his wife, 8 children, 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as countless extended family and friends. May God have him in eternal glory. Elías Villalobos González, también conocido como “Don José”, de 84 años, falleció pacíficamente tras una larga lucha contra el Alzheimer el 18 de enero de 2026. Estaba rodeado de sus seres queridos cuando partió a la vida eterna. Nació en Nochistlán, Zacatecas, el 27 de julio de 1941, hijo de sus queridos padres Pedro Villalobos y Severiana González. Creció en un humilde rancho en Paso de Orozco, donde disfrutaba participar en charreadas. Entre sus pasatiempos favoritos se encontraban jugar a las cartas y al billar. A Elías le encantaba escuchar rancheras y música norteña, siendo José Alfredo Jiménez su artista favorito. Inició su servicio militar en el ejército mexicano en 1959 como soldado de infantería. Elías encontró al amor de su vida, Consuelo Oropeza, en 1961 y se casaron el 25 de diciembre de 1966. Formaron su hermosa familia de ocho hijos en El Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California. Elías fue un padre ejemplar y cariñoso que lo daba todo por su familia. A Elias le sobreviven su esposa, sus 8 hijos, 19 nietos y 4 bisnietos, así como innumerables familia y amigos. Dios lo tenga en su santa gloria.
